Battle Ground Golf Club has served as a longtime host of IHSAA postseason competition, including numerous IHSAA Girls Golf Regionals and Boys Golf Sectionals. O’Neal Golf Management (OGM), managers of Battle Ground GC, has a longstanding partnership with the IHSAA, having administered 23 IHSAA State Finals. Together, we look forward to providing a first-class State Finals experience for these student-athletes.
This page is designed to assist players, coaches, parents and spectators with information needed to enjoy their time on site at the championship. Please continue to visit the IHSAA’s site for all official tournament information.

The practice round fee will be $49 per player and $49 for the coaches. The course will be closed to all outside play on Thursday, October 1 to allow for State Finals practice rounds.
On October 1st, tee times are available to reserve from 9:00am-2:30pm and are FOR PLAYERS AND COACHES ONLY. Please mention that you are playing in the Championship when you call the Golf Shop to book your tee time – 765.567.2178.
The course will be setup to play 5,645 yards on Championship days.
Practice on Tournament Days
The Practice Range will be open each morning at 7:30 a.m. of the Championship.
Per IHSAA rules, a player must NOT practice on the competition course (but may practice on the designated practice areas) on the day of competition or between rounds.
Parking
Several parking lots will be designated for the duration of the tournament, and there will be no charge for parking during the tournament.
Players, Coaches, IHSAA, IGA-PGA officials, handicap placards, volunteers, media, and staff will park in the main Clubhouse parking lot.
Spectators will park in additional lots adjacent to the course. Shuttle buses will be dropping spectators at the Clubhouse, including near the ADA ramp to ensure easy access to the course for all.
Food & Beverage
Thanks to a recent $1.75 million Clubhouse renovation, Battle Ground now offers an elevated food and beverage experience and more robust menu. A special menu for tournament days will be shared soon.
PLAYER FOOD & DRINK AND COOLER FEE: Coaches may bring their own food and drink
products for rostered players ONLY and their own coolers to place on their golf car. To do so,
there will be a $75 one-time Team Fee for the championship and $20 Player Fee for the
individual participants. This fee will be paid in the Battle Ground GC Golf Shop prior to the start
of the Championship when Coaches pick up their packets.
SPECTATOR FOOD & DRINK: Spectators, families, and supporters are asked to not bring any outside coolers onto the property. There will be opportunities to get refreshments, snacks, energy bars, fruit, and food at the Clubhouse and near the 11 green/12 teeing area. Cash, Credit and Debit Cards will be accepted.
Spectator Tickets
General Admission to the Championship, per the IHSAA, will be $15 per person (ticket good for both days). All ticket sales will be digital only, via the IHSAA’s Eventlink ticketing system once it becomes available. No cash will be accepted.
Spectator carts
Spectator Golf Cars will be available on a “first come first serve” basis for $65. Battle Ground Golf Club will not reserve golf carts for anyone. If you have a handicap placard and need a spectator cart, please contact the IHSAA at 317-846-6601 for approval of a reserved golf cart.
All reservations can be requested by calling the IHSAA. Battle Ground Golf Club staff are not permitted to take any spectator cart reservations.
Battle Ground GC does not have full cart paths throughout the course. All Spectator Carts will be required to follow a marked/painted line on the course. GPS info, course signs, and a map will help guide spectators. GPS units on the carts will prevent carts from departing from this designated path.
Course access
To ensure a first-rate tournament experience, the golf course will be closed to members and the public October 1-3 and only available to State Finals players and teams.
The Main Front Gate and Clubhouse will open at 7:15 a.m. on October 2nd and 3rd.
Please note: 9th Street is closed south of Burnetts Road. This closure should have minimal impact on tournament traffic, as 9th Street remains open north of Burnetts Road and the primary route to Battle Ground Golf Club is accessible.
Directional signage will be posted beginning at State Road 43 and Burnetts Road and will continue along the route through the Town of Battle Ground to help guide players, spectators and guests directly to the golf course. Please follow tournament directional signage rather than routes that attempt to access 9th Street from south of Burnetts Road. We recommend allowing a few extra minutes for travel and following posted signage as you approach Battle Ground.
Golf Shop
Battle Ground GC’s new Golf Shop is fully stocked with apparel, equipment, and accessories from the industry’s top brands.
IHSAA State Finals merchandise will also be available in the Golf Shop during the event.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located in the Clubhouse as well as on the golf course near the 11 green/12 tee and the 16 green.
